Musa Adnan is a public speaker, academic researcher and online activist. He currently serves as a khateeb in London and has been active in the field of dawah (propagation of Islam) for over a decade.
He has studied Islamic sciences under the tutelage of various mashāyikh including scholars from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia & local teachers. Fields studied include: Qur’anic studies, Hadith studies, Fiqh Studies (Islamic law), Arabic, Usool (Islamic principles), Seerah and more.
Musa earned a BA (Hons) in History from the University of London before completing an MA in History at SOAS. His postgraduate studies culminated in a thesis on Ibn Taymiyya and the Mongols, for which he was awarded a distinction.
Musa has studied Islamic sciences under the tutelage of esteemed mashāyikh from various parts of the globe. In addition to reciting to various qurrā, he has studied Qur’ānic sciences and has been awarded Ijāzāt in the field of Tajwīd. Musa has immersed himself in Arabic studies over an extended period, achieving fluency in both comprehension and spoken communication. He has studied Shāfiʿī fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and Usūl and has also received Ijāzāt in prominent Hadīth collections. Musa has engaged with various classical and contemporary works in the field of ʿAqīdah and is currently studying under the tutelage of Shaykh ʿAbdullah al-ʿUjayrī of Saudi Arabia.
